This is from the Text analysis section of my course. We dissect the elements of Language, form and structure so that we can actually do the work.  

Text analysis is not just something you pick up and do, not because it is very difficult to do, but because it requires a hive of prerequisite knowledge to actually get it. This video doesn't give all the context you might need, but it gives something, and should at least give you some idea of where you should be heading as you study for AS English.

Naturally, I would love for you to join me, but working with me is not for everyone.  I have spaces available at the moment, and more students means that I get to explore the idea of building education around people rather than turning my students into products that produce the expected outputs. I want my students to produce far more than the expected outputs, I want them to change the world.  Our partnership will be about growth and passion, I  can't change people into world changers if I don't get to work with them.
